1. WHERE CAN I FIND INFORMATION ON YOUR ACTING CLASSES?
All details including dates, times and costs of our classes can be found on the Classes page on our site.
2. DO YOU OFFER ANY ACTING CLASSES FOR BEGINNERS?
Yes. Currently our Acting for Camera 1 class is focused on those who have no previous acting experience or those who only have experience from a Theatre background.
3. CAN I PAY A DEPOSIT ONLINE FOR YOUR ACTING CLASSES?
Yes. Go to our booking page. Select the option "Deposit For Any Class" and, follow the instructions. You can also choose to pay in full for any class using this method.
4. HOW DO I GET MY ACTORS SHOWREEL MADE?
Firstly, you need to have at least 3 scenes where you have enough speaking time on camera to show your acting ability. It is very important that you get copies of your scenes in FULL RESOLUTION video files on disc. Burned DVDs can be used but quality will be seriously reduced if material has to be ripped from a burned DVD. We can shoot additional scenes to add to your showreel if needed.
5. HOW IS MY SCENE/SHOWREEL/HEADSHOTS DELIVERED TO ME?
All video scenes & showreels are delivered to you as both a playable DVD and as a disc with Full Resolution video files for upload on youtube, etc. Headshots are delivered on disc with versions including colour, black & white, 12x8, 10x8 and versions for print, emailing and upload on the web.
6. CAN I ADD NEW SCENES TO UPDATE MY SHOWREEL IN THE FUTURE?
Yes. Once we have edited your showreel you can add 2 new scenes at just a €10 cost for postage and packaging of discs.
7. WHAT OTHER TYPE OF SHOOTS DO YOU DO?
We also shoot Video Auditions at a cost of €40 which includes quick turnaround and upload for you to send to the casting director asap. Outside of actors showreels we also shoot showreels for presenters.
8. HOW DO I CLAIM A DISCOUNT ON YOUR SERVICES?
To claim a 10% discount on all our services incl headshots, actors showreels & scene shoots simply bring/send proof of your Equity membership, ActorsVision acting class receipt or get referred by your agent at Flicks Agency. We also do discounts for actors who do multiple shoots and/or get their actors showreel edited by us.
Also, we understand the cost of headshots, showreels & scene shoots can add up. So, if the only thing holding you back is price then TALK TO US and we can work something out.
9. I NEED ADVICE ON SHOWREELS, HEADSHOTS, AGENTS, ETC...CAN I CONTACT YOU ABOUT THIS?
YES. The whole ethos of ActorsVision is to help actors in any way we can.
