OVERVIEW:
The Actors Studio is our most advanced acting course in Cork. Entry to this course is by audition only. The studio class offers intense training geared towards challenging the actors existing skills in theatre & screen performance.
WHAT'S COVERED:
*Chekhov Technique - A Psycho-Physical Approach to Acting
*Working with Emotionally Charged Scenes
*Building a Character (Playing beyond ourselves)
*Voice Training
*Intimacy within scene work
*Creating Your Method
*Preparing, Developing & Executing a Performance (Stage vs Screen)
TERMS: THURSDAY's 8-10pm Weekly
1 YEAR PART-TIME (28 Weeks) - 3 Terms
5th October 2023 - 7th December 2023
25th January 2024 - 28th March 2024
11th April 2024 - 6th June 2024
CULMINATION:
The Course includes a short film production at the end of term 3, and the opportunity to audition for our new Production Company & Agency.
