FASTNET FILM FESTIVAL 2021

Updated: Jul 20, 2021

In difficult times, people love to escape into film and TV for entertainment, laughter, tears, horror, romance. Therefore, the ‘Fastnet Film Festival’ couldn't have come at a better time, and we are very excited to have two shorts playing at the festival this week!

‘Feudal’, directed by Darren Kelleher and written by Brian O’ Donoghue, dramatically presents the audience with a series of linked events told backwards. ‘Reverie’, written and directed by Barbora Gajdosova, tells the eerie story of a family of women who welcome a young man into their countryside home. Both shorts were produced by ‘BOLT Studios’, and are starring a number of Actorsvision graduates.

‘The Fastnet Film Festival’ is an independent film festival that has been running since 2009. It encourages new and up and coming filmmakers by celebrating their movies, giving out awards, and accepting all kinds of films, no matter the budget. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the festival will be presented online. Fortunately, this may draw new film fans to the festival, being able to see what their local independent film communities are capable of from the comfort of their homes. We are as honoured as we are excited to have our shorts accepted, and we would like to congratulate all our cast and crew.

The full programme of shorts for this year's festival are available to view through https://www.onlinefastnetfilmfestival.com/
